In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, our elementary students showed their spirit as they competed on the Red, White, and Blue teams during our annual Color War! This school-wide reading celebration and friendly competition had students excited from start to finish.
Classes completed challenges to earn points for their color teams. Students participated in activities like reading with a buddy, decoding emoji messages, finding hidden stickers around the school, and even completing challenges in their Essentials classes to help their teams climb the leaderboard.
Congratulations to the ❤️ Red Team ❤️ for coming out on top and earning the Color War Trophy! 🏆
A huge thank you to Mrs. Wilcox, our district librarian, for organizing the entire event and creating such a fun experience for our students. The creativity, planning, and excitement she brought to Color War made it a week our students will be talking about for a long time! 🎉📚
