Sealed proposals will be received at the Genoa Area Local Schools Treasurer’s Office, 2810 N. Genoa-Clay Center Road, Genoa, OH 43430 until June 17, 2026, 2:00 pm to be opened immediately thereafter for furnishing the necessary labor, equipment, tools and materials for paving improvements.

Copies of the bid and contract documents including instructions to bidders and specifications may be obtained, upon receipt of $25.00 (twenty-five dollars) in cash or check for each printed set, from the office of Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc.; 314 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537. Electronic documents are available at no cost. Documents may be obtained by contacting Casey@buehrergroup.com. 

The bid and contract documents shall be on file, for inspection, at the office of Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. 314 Conant Street, Maumee, OH 43537.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid; or a certified check; cashier’s check or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid which will require a 100% Performance Bond upon award of the contract.  All bids shall be submitted on forms of proposal supplied by the Architect.  All bidders, by bidding, agree to pay wages not less than the minimum as determined by the State of Ohio, Department of Industrial Relations, and agree to comply with Executive Order No. 11246 of the President of the United States.

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding.  No Bidder may withdraw his or her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after bid opening.

A voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 pm local time, on June 9, 2026, at Genoa Area Local Schools, 2810 N. Genoa-Clay Center Road, Genoa, OH 43430.
