Grade Seven Perfection Learning Standard: Vocabulary – Word Analysis

Materials Needed: Textbooks, Binder, Pen or Pencil

Class Work:

Complete Caught Ya
Journal Entry (10 minutes)
Introduce Word Roots, Prefixes, & Suffixes
Handout worksheet for binder (Study Sheet)
Read Pgs. 621-625 in Reader’s Handbook
Define Root Word, Prefix, & Suffix
Compete WKST Packet #1 (WKST Pgs. 221 & 136-138)
