Update on the "New Genoa Elementary"!
Ground breaking for the "New Genoa Elementary" was held on September 16th, 2009 at 1:30opm, All K-5 students and staff participated in the ceremony. The K-5 Building will replace the Allen Central and Brunner Building and be ready for the 2011-12 school year. The building will be located at the H.S. site. The elementary building will incorporate a geothermal heating and cooling system and roof line windows to provide "day lighting" for classrooms. It will be designed to meet "green" construction standards certification. The site package bids have been awarded and work will begin on the site shortly.

No School for students!
Nov. 9 - Market Day Pick Up

Marco's Pizza Night - Brunner
Nov. 10 - "Decoration Multiplication" at Samsen's - 8pm
Nov. 11 - 2 HR Delay
Nov. 12 - Allen/Brunner Picture Retakes
Nov. 24 - Students' last day....
Nov. 25 -27 - Thanksgiving Break
Dec. 1 - Ending date for 2nd nine weeks grading period
Dec. 3 - 1st grade field trip to "A Christmas Carol" and Spaghetti Warehouse
Dec. 4 - Send mid-terms home with students
Dec. 7 - Market Day
Gr. 4 / 5 - Holiday Concerts / Program
Dec. 14 - Gr. 2 Holiday Program - 7pm at Genoa High School
Dec. 22 - Stuidents' last day...
